About
A licensed Bristol private hire operator: school transport, airport transfers, train station pickups and pre-booked journeys.
Smooth Cars Limited is a licensed private hire operator based in Bristol, and one of the highest rated in the area. People come back to us for the reason people stay with any taxi company: the car turns up, at the time agreed, with a licensed driver at the wheel.
What we do most days
Four journeys make up most of our work:
- School transport - contracted home-to-school journeys, the same arrangement every school day.
- Airport transfers - Bristol, Heathrow, Gatwick, Birmingham and Cardiff, at a fixed price, with the flight tracked.
- Train station transport - Temple Meads, Bristol Parkway and Filton Abbey Wood, timed to your train.
- Pre-booked journeys - the early flight, the hospital appointment, the trip you would rather not leave to chance.
We also cover everyday journeys around the city, executive cars for client collection, and meet and greet in airport arrivals.
How booking works
Tell us the journey on this website, or send us a WhatsApp message. The office rings you back to agree the details and the price, and nothing is booked until you have agreed it. You then get written confirmation and a reminder before the day.
Our drivers
Every driver holds a current private hire licence and a DBS certificate. Every vehicle holds a current MOT, private hire plate and insurance. Our booking system will not let a job be assigned to a car whose paperwork has lapsed.
